In The Domain in Anaheim, this was the first condo building to blend high density elements with the conveniences of a townhome or lower density community. Similar to what condo owners in Orange County have faced, the cost of building maintenance, elevator maintenance, insurance, and property management have all skyrocketed. Nearby buildings such as the Stadium Lofts and Harbor Lofts have encountered a similar increase. Both have also had prior litigation with their builders to receive some funds, but it’s still not enough to offset the increases needed when doing a reserve study.

With 11 years that have passed, it’s hard to believe the smallest floorplans were being offered in the high $300s. When combined with the City of Anaheim’s “attainable homeownership” program, this was one of the best deals in Anaheim.
