Anaheim Downtown-Styled Condos –> Blog: A Seller’s Worst Outcome
The harsh reality: Expired and Cancelled Listings
Most condominium owners who decide to sell are taking a meaningful next step in life — moving into a larger home, cashing out a rental, downsizing or relocating to a different area.
Almost none of them consider the worst possible outcome: listing the home, living with months of uncertainty, and then pulling it off the market or letting it expire without a sale.
This is a harsh reality in real estate. An expired listing means the home went through the entire listing term — usually six months — without selling. A cancelled listing means the seller and agent mutually ended the contract early. Either way, the result is the same: time lost, momentum gone, and a plan that never moved forward.
